Summit Strategic Solutions is a newly formed healthcare Management Services Organization (MSO) providing strategic, administrative, and operational services to physician practices, health insurance plans, and self-insured employers. Summit Strategic Solutions was formed from the management services developed for Summit Medical Group, a large primary care physician group based in Knoxville, Tennessee, and current Summit Strategic Solutions client.

Primary care practices and health plans, which have thrived in a fee-for-service structure, now face significant challenges as they contemplate the transition to a new business model.

Summit Strategic Solutions brings experience and proven systems to help practices and health plans navigate the uncertain waters of healthcare reform. Created out of one of the most successful primary care groups and Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) in the country, Summit Strategic Solutions can help manage transformations of practice groups and health plans.

Service programs address baseline practice management needs; transformation of clinical practices to population health management approach; and the alignment of clinical practice and risk-based reimbursement to deliver true value-based care. Summit Strategic Solutions  will be compensated for services under various payment mechanisms, including a percentage of practice revenues; negotiated monthly flat fees; gainsharing and/or a percent of premiums; or per-member per-month fees.
