Jerry Hall, CPA
Interim CEO and Chief Financial Officer
Jerry Hall is Chief Financial Officer for Summit Strategic Solutions and oversees accounting, financial analysis, patient financial services, and contract management for Summit Medical Group. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee. Jerry practiced as a certified public accountant for 10 years with an international accounting firm and served as treasurer of a privately held company for 11 years. He joined Summit Medical Group in 1996, assuming the role of CFO for Summit Strategic Solutions in 2015. Jerry is a member of Medical Group Management Association, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Chief Information Officer
Harry Herrmann serves as Chief Information Officer for Summit Strategic Solutions and oversees information technology services and solutions for the company’s clients. He earned a Bachelor of Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and is a registered professional engineer and member of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS). Harry joins the leadership team with more than 30 years of experience in information technology services in the healthcare industry, including serving as chief information officer for a large hospital system in Knoxville for nearly 19 years and running a successful consulting business. His understanding of the healthcare landscape will help Summit Strategic Solutions deliver on its full spectrum of services.
Jack Kam, MBA
Chief Science and Innovation Officer
Jack Kam serves as Chief Science and Innovation Officer, responsible for investigating, championing, developing, and guiding product innovations and business ventures. Born and raised in Hong Kong, Jack came to the United States for post-secondary education. He completed his undergraduate and post-graduate training at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville and the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. He received board certifications in Medical Technology and Nuclear Medicine Technology and earned his MBA from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Jack built the first Nuclear Medicine Technology school in East Tennessee and the first Clinical Positron Emission Tomography (PET) center in the United States. He joined Summit Medical Group in 1996, built and operated many new & innovative businesses for the Group, and in 2015 he was named Chief Science and Innovation Officer of Summit Strategic Solutions. He is an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, American Telemedicine Association, the Radiological Society of North America, and the Organization of Chinese Americans, now called OCA-Asian Pacific American Advocates.
Kimberly Kauffman, MPH
Chief Value Based Care Officer
Kimberly Kauffman is Chief Value Based Care Officer. In her role, Kimberly is responsible for the transition from fee-for-service to fee-for-value. In support of value-based contracts with Medicare Advantage, commercial health plans, and Medicaid managed care, she leads the Care Coordination, Health Education, Quality Reporting and Improvement, Risk Adjustment, and Provider Engagement Teams, and she works closely with Summit Medical Group’s data analytics partner. Prior to joining Summit Medical Group, Kimberly managed a large Independent Physicians’ Association in Florida and also worked with hospital and physician leadership to create several regional Physician Hospital Organizations. Prior to that, she was responsible for operations for senior healthcare centers, supporting multiple hospital clients. She received her Master’s degree from the College of Public Health at the University of Florida. She is an officer of the Board of Directors for the National Association of ACOs and an active member of its Policy Committee.
Susan Loveday, M.A., SPHR, SCP-SHRM

Vice President of Talent Strategies and Relations
Susan Loveday is Vice President of Talent Strategies and Relations. Susan collaborates with the CEO and executive leadership team to meet company and client goals through processes such as: enhancing the patient healthcare experience, goal setting, talent selection, diversity, employee relations, training and development, compensation strategies, succession planning, performance management and legal compliance. A human resources professional with 20 years of management experience, Loveday earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, and her master’s degree in industrial/organizational psychology from Radford University in Virginia. She holds memberships with the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and American Medical Group Association, and she is a SHRM senior certified professional and a senior professional in human resources.
Jeff Tuck, RN, BA, JD
Chief Legal Officer
Jeff Tuck is the Chief Legal Officer for Summit Strategic Solutions and oversees compliance, legal services, and risk management for Summit Medical Group. A native of Blount County, Jeff earned a diploma in nursing from St. Mary’s Medical Center School of Nursing in Knoxville; a Bachelor of Arts degree, Cum Laude, in Health Care Management from Maryville College; and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Tennessee College of Law. He is licensed as a registered nurse and an attorney by the state of Tennessee. Jeff is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, Health Law Section; American Health Lawyers Association, Health Care Corporate Compliance Association; and the Medical Group Management Association, where he currently serves on the Advisory Committee to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services of the federal government.
